Why we built it
Too many travel platforms hide the real exchange behind layers of middlemen. Hodlstay starts from a simpler idea: a fair deal, freely made, with money that holds its value.
Hodlstay is for people who want to travel on their own terms. You hold all year because what lasts matters. When you spend, the value should move as directly as the product allows, without turning the stay into a maze of FX and platform theater.
And we don't make guests jump through hoops. Native stays are request-to-book today: the host accepts first, then the guest pays through BTCPay. Partner hotel checkout is handled separately by the partner hotel flow, and more native payment rails are planned.
